Like Moths to a Flame

Now that it is warmer in the evenings I have started to switch on my lamp between dusk and bedtime. I can't leave it on all night because it would disturb our cat who sleeps in the adjacent lean-to! I may have to think of a solution to that one. Two species have arrived this week. Firstly, a single Diurnea fagella (dark form) and then several Twenty-plume Moths (Alucita hexadactyla). Last night, there were four Twenty-plumes at the lamp and three at the kitchen window! I will be checking the garden honeysuckles for larvae.
